

Kusatsu Station is adjacent to the large Kintetsu Kusatsu department store and several hotels: the Hotel Boston Plaza Kusatsu and the Kusatsu Daiichi Hotel. Moriyama Station is just across the Yasu River from Yasu. The Central Hotel Yasu is close to the station. Yasu Station is convenient for the Sagawa Art Museum on the shore of Biwako (Lake Biwa). Omi-Hachiman Station in Omi-Hachiman is also on the Ohmi Railway Yokaichi Line running between Omi-Hachiman and Yokaichi. Near to the station is the Ohmi Railway Museum with a number of locomotives and carriages on display and several hotels including the Hotel Sunroute Hikone and the Comfort Hotel Hikone. Hikone Station in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, close to Lake Biwa, connects with Ohmi Railway Main Line from Maibara to Koka. Close to the station is the Toyoko Inn Maibara-eki Shinkansen Nishi-guchi Hotel. Maibara Station connects with the Tokaido Shinkansen, Tokaido Main Line, Hokuriku Main Line and Ohmi Railway Main Line. * Not all Haruka trains stop at Yamashina, Tatasuki, Izumi-Fuchu and Hineno.
